Why my phone don't transfer files

How can I transfer files to SD card on my u989 hisense

Using a file manager. If you don't have one, install Total Commander. When you turn the phone sideways, TC gives you a split window, so you can open one to the file and the other to a folder on the SD card, and just drag and drop. (Choose Copy, not Move. [If a move blows up in the middle you could lose both copies.] After you make sure that the file copied successfully, delete the original.)
