    Aside from having Verizon unlock it (which they will if it's fully paid for and your contract is over, or you pay the early termination fee), you'll be missing 1 3G band and 2 4G bands, so depending on where you are (therefore, which bands TMobile is using there), you may not get data, just voice and text.

    Verizon sells their phones unlocked, I used my S7 on Tmobile while it had an active device payment on Verizon.

    Only thing I'm aware I was missing was Wi-Fi calling wasn't available to me. I also never had 3G data, always 4G or 2G, not sure if it was a phone problem or not.
