[Android Central Question]

Tablet was working fine, now anything associated with Google play services is crashing. Can't open links or access emails on chrome. A few other apps affected also.

All apps are disabled when in safe mode. I can't try any of them. Rebooting doesn't help.

I don't know if the tablet updated a few days ago or not. When I check for updates it tells me it can't check for updates because of server error.

Only 3rd party apps that you installed yourself should be disabled -- anything that was preinstalled should still work. Or were you not having any issue with the preinstalled apps?

If problems disappear in Safe Mode, that usually means that something you installed is causing problems. Unfortunately, there's no easy way to further pinpoint the culprit app -- you often just have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

Updated each individual app...now everything works again.
