Hello,
Welcome to the forums. Will you please provide more information.
The basics;
What phone do you have?
What version are you on?

About your problem;
Does your device have an SD card?
What size is your SD card?
Has it ever worked or did this just start?
Do you have any apps that might affect how the SD works, something to compress space, clean partitions, encryption etc?
When do you get the notification? At start up, randomly, when you open an app, when you look at pics?
Can you see anything stored on the SD before or after the notification?

Signing up for the forum is free and easy. By signing up you can share more information, post pics and links after meeting the minimum requirements.

A simple solution sometimes is to just restart the device.

If that doesn't work, one of two things could have happened - either the card went bad or got corrupted (bad means a replacement - if it's SanDisk it's under warranty so go to SanDisk microSD Tech Support - live chat is at the upper right - corrupted means that you lost everything on it [and if you want to spend a few days without it, PhotoRec will probably recover everything on it]).
