Hi all. I was attempting to fix a problem with my Google Now feed where it would show "No cards available right now" when I pushed "More stories" at the bottom. I read that clearing all Google Search data might fix the problem, but it didn't.
And now, when I try to use my Assistant, I get the message, "The Google Assistant isn't available on this device." So now I'm rolled back to the Google Now on Tap feature, with seemingly no way to re-enable Assistant. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! When you open the Google app and tap Menu>Settings, do you see a heading for Google Assistant? If so, tap Settings under it, then Phone, then make sure the toggle for Google Assistant is turned on.

And what should we do if Google Assistant doesn't appear? I've installed the app, but any attempt to open it brings up the "google assistant isn't available on this device" message.
