I recently had my phone turned of by my ex along with my phone number of 3 years that I use for my kids to contact me, work, doctors offices etc. Are there any free WiFi texting/calling apps that will allow me to still use my number until I get this whole mess figured out? It would be such a chore for me to contact EVERY place and person to change my number right this second, HELP!!

No, any app that uses phone numbers uses your phone number. About all you can do is go to the carrier and beg for the number back, (Then pay the $20 to port it to Google Voice, so you'll never lose it again, no matter what home or cell number you have. Just forward calls and texts to your current cellphone and calls to your current home phone. I've been doing just that for a few years now, with the number I found on GV, so that's the only number I have to give out.)
