Can't save images

[Android Central Question]

When I download, screenshot or take a photo with the camera, it doesn't get saved.
screenshotting gives the error "not enough storage or forbidden". Why? I think the problem started when I used the pre installed file managers (purple icon?) "boost" option.
Solutions to this screenshot error are "change the name of your pictures folder", but if I attempt to do that, it just says " action failed". I also can't change it on PC with debug mode.
