    Each time I download from the gallery I get a new file with all the pics instead of just the new ones.

    Welcome to Android Central! As far as I know, there is no easy way to do that -- in other words, there is no good photo sync between Android and a desktop. In Windows Explorer, if you use the Import Pictures/Videos option, you'll get every single image and video from the phone, including ones that are already on the computer, as well as cached images used by apps. It's best to manually select the photos and drag and drop them yourself.

    My other suggestion would be to use Google Photos auto backup to upload your photos to the cloud. That way you don't have to worry about potentially losing photos, and you can easily arrange your photos into albums. https://support.google.com/photos/an...DAndroid&hl=en
