Facebook app keeps closing

[Android Central Question]

I tried to post a poll onto a secret group on facebook on my phone but as the post was uploading the facebook app crashed and closed. Now every time I open the app on my phone it re-attempts to post the poll and crashes everytime.

I have tried force stopping the app, restarting my phone, disabling the app and I am now out of options!

I know (from my pc) that the poll never posted but friends have told me that they got a notification to say it was.

Help please!!

Open the app in Settings/Apps, force close and clear the cache. See if that fixes it.

If not, uninstall the app, go to the Play store, download and install it again.

(And remember, Facebook is not one of the best-written apps,)
