Google Calendar app not syncing all Calendar events from Exchange account

[Android Central Question]

I have a Moto E4 running Adroid 7.1.1. The native calendar app on the phone is Google Calendar. I added my Exchange email/calendar/contacts/tasks account to the phone. Everything sync up as expected.

"All of a sudden" of the the calendar events that existed prior to using this phone are no longer showing up/syncing in the Google Calendar app. New events added on the phone or on my desktop using Outlook are indeed syncing as expected.

Any ideas?

I know this is several months old, but I'm experiencing the same thing on one of our company phones.

Any new appointment made on the Google Calendar app, or in Outlook for the Exchange account shows up on both. But all previously made appointments from before the phone was set up do not sync from the Outlook/Exchange calendar to the Google Calendar app on the phone.

Did you ever have any luck with a resolve for this?
