    i HAVE APPS LIKE mY cOOKBOOK THAT HAS LOT S OF RECIPES. wILL i LOSE THOSE, AND ANY OTHER INFO OR FILES i HAVE STORED ON APPS?

    Helium will save the data (and the app if you tell it to - data-only is the default). If the phone isn't rooted, you'll have to plug the phone into your PC (Helium will give you the link to download the program from) and run the Helium PC end to give the Android end permission to run. (Not a big deal - having just gotten a new phone, I've done this to about half my apps just the other day.)
