Why did my edge s7 all of a sudden go from charging screen to a blue screen?

Blue screen says Downloading, do not turn off target.

Welcome to Android Central! Force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for about 15-20 seconds. Then try powering on again normally. Does it go back to that screen?
