Android Central Question

When I'm away from home, the battery drains slowly - maybe 5 - 10% over an 8-hour day (my phone is on, but I never use it, or even look at it unless it rings). When I get home it drains nearly 10% per hour, even when sitting idle. This started after we moved and had new Fios installed (same equipment and service as previous apartment. I assume the wifi network at home is the culprit, but I've turned off sync on all devices and tried all the recommended steps to reduce battery drain. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Poor cell signal is a common culprit -- how is yours at home? Install an app like GSam Battery Monitor and look at the Cell Signal Strength graph to see if the signal is mostly poor-to-medium while at home.
