Galaxy S3 Slow and lag!!!

[Android Central Question]

I have tracfone Samsung galaxy S3 it is new in the sense I bought it recently new. Its running Android 4.1.2 and there is no update available I've tried updating hopeing an update would fix the extreme lag and slow response time I've checked if battery saver is not on I have cleared the cache partition I've done a factory data reset (?) My question is after trieng those three possible solutions to no avail what more could I possibly do!? I guess it is possible that after time and becoming use to the phones now a days and how fast they are , going back and using the galaxy s3 was fast in its days maybe the slow lag is how itssupoost to run just back then it would of seemed fast to us ?

Run a speed test like AnTuTu Benchmark and you'll see how it stacks up to the average S3. (Antutu is free.)

Do try the test. But it really is possible that that's just the phone. The S3 is a true dinosaur in mobile phone terms. Some of the don't even support LTE.
