Pictures disappearing

[Android Central Question]

It started with my S7 edge and is now continuing with my note 8. I take a picture and by the next day its gone. I called tmobile they said the picture was corrupt. Saving to google file but it's still happening. The thumbnail is there with ! in the middle says file can't be found.

Welcome to Android Central! Is the camera saving photos to Internal Storage or the SD card by default? If the latter, then the card might be the problem. Try saving to Internal Storage by default.
