Moto Style Shell + Wireless Charging issues in 2017 Chevy

I purchased a Moto Style shell + wireless charging for my Moto Z Droid. I have connected the style shell to my device and my device recognizes it. When I place the device on the wireless charging pad that is integrated into the center console of the 2017 Chevy Tahoe the vehicle recognizes that the device has been placed on the pad and the device shows that it is charging for a second or 2 but then disconnects. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution? or is this mod not compatible with the Tahoe charging pad?

Hoe much thickness does the mod add to the back of the phone? Too much and the phone won't charge. (Even just adding a few tabs that extend past the back of the phone will raise it off the pad enough to not charge.)

I have the same problem. Bought Moto Style shell + wireless charging today for use with my Moto Z Force Droid in 2018 Buick Enclave purchased yesterday. Have you found a solution?
