XGODY X1 root instructions please?

This is my first post on these forums.
I have a cheap Chinese XGODY X1 phone. I had some difficulty with it when I first obtained it with the stock firmware. Happily, I have overcome most of these by flashing the latest factory updated firmware.
However, as I am Linux Mint user and enthusiast, I would like to explore the possibility of gaining root access to this phone and to learn advantages that will be gained after doing so on this phone.
If anyone would like to reply with relevant information, or warnings about this, I will much appreciate it.
This is my first computer phone.

If you don't get a response here from other users of that device - and I doubt that there are many - XDA Forums may be worth a search.

The odds of someone playing with a cheap Chinese phone long enough - who has the knowledge - to find a bug that allows temporary rooting are non-existent to none. You could try iRoot, Kingo or KingRoot. But XDA doesn't even have a subforum for the phone.
