    Why is it that after receiving my phone in the mail, brand-new, that it won't allow me to install system updates and says that the device is corrupted, cannot be trusted and will not boot? I had no problems with the phone before it, which is the same make and model, I just broke the screen and my insurance replaced it.

    Welcome to Android Central! If this is a replacement phone sent to you by insurance, contact the insurance company and let them know they sent you a faulty phone. Ask them for another replacement.

    Even if it's from a seller, contact them, tell them that they sent you a defective phone and ask for a replacement.
