With Windows, you can just pop in a CD or a USB to install your Operating System like Windows 7, Windows 10 or Linux Base Operating Systems. I am wondering about this same thing about Android Devices like Phones, Tablets. I understand their different models for the phone if the phone is an LG, Moto, Etc. There got to be a special design of the model of the operating system. Lets put all that aside there has to be an Android Linux Base OS that you can load on any phone it is a computer inside your pocket basically I mean it be better to load a fresh install of Android without the bloatware of the device I know other people are having the same issue I understand there are form that you can Root Your Devices and Flash different Verison of Android. But why is there no other way to install an Android-like Lollipop, Marshmellow, or Nogaut? I don't understand why people have not figure the way of installing a clean os that will help your phone be faster and more easier to use without a Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile. I don't want to have a carrier on my device sure if I want to call someone I can use Textnow App to just make a call. Please can someone or somebody that figure this out can someone direct me somewhere please don't direct me to the XDA Forms or say it not possible because I believe that anything with programming or different adjustments there are Millions possible ways to get this working I need to find that person that can direct me to that place or video. Thanks for your help.

    1. It's really hard to do. You're not always installing this OS to a completely open piece of tech like a computer. It's a proprietary, mostly secure piece of hardware with many safeguards and hurdles to work out. Not designed for you to do this.

    2. XDA is your best chance at getting what you want. Actually, most of the Devs in that forum stride to do the things you're asking.
