What is the icon with a circle and 4 dots in it mean

Top left corner of my phone in statis bar there is a circle and 4 dots in it what does that mean

Usually icons on the left in the status bar are for notifications from apps. If you pull down your notification shade is there an app there that correlates to that icon?
