I cannot connect my tab e lite to my wi-fi

[Android Central Question]

hi i am trying to connect my galaxy Tab E lite to my wi-fi and it's saying im out of range...my labtap is next to me and i'm all connected..i have turned it on and off but still no luck..please help?
It is brand new so no other where and tear.
