Bluetooth won't even turn on after 7.1.1 update

[Android Central Question]

I updated my Samsung Tab A yesterday to 7.1.1 and now Bluetooth won't even turn on under system connections. Can't connect if won't even show an active blue indicator. I have done the following:
1) Restarted
2)cleared cache under storage
3) forced stop & cleared cache of Bluetooth apps in application manager

Nothing works. Am I doomed to wired now? All worked well using Marshmallow.

Same issue here..... nothing will fix it

Same thing happened on mine. Went to general management - reset - reset network settings and I can now turn on Bluetooth. Hope this works for you!
