Huawei Mediapad T3 10, How to make use of extra memory card inserted in slot.

My Huawei media pad has extra memory available, but I don't manage to download anything to it, e.g downloaded films or photos. It just always shows a screen of blank empty file folders. Any pointers/solutions much appreciated.

App installation and downloading go to internal storage, but you can always use a file manager to copy a downloaded file, paste it to the card, then delete the original. (Don't use the Move function. If a move blows in the middle you can lose both the original and the copy.) And you can set most camera apps to save on the card.
