Please help! I cant hear any of my recorded messages

I have an samsung galaxy s8 and up until yesterdsy i could hear and others could hearmy recorded messages like on whatsapp n messenger..lilei would the message n send it n they cudnt hear s thing..id trylistening to my message to see if i could and i cudnt hear anything either..however i could hear messages they sent me..

Welcome to Android Central! So it doesn't seem to be recording what you say? Can people hear you ok when you call them using the regular Phone app? What about if you're on speakerphone? This can help determine if there's something wrong with the primary or secondary microphones.
