How to chang your password in screen lock type?

Hi. I have a problem with my S6..
i go to my screen lock type in settings to lock it but i cant put my thumb finger and it says wait for 60 minutes. Then after that i tried the password but i FORGOT my password. I tried 6 times and it doesnt match with my thumb.

Please help.thank u

You'll have to unlock it, so sit and think, or sleep on it. Then when it's unlocked, change the lock screen to None, then change it to Password and put in a password - and store it somewhere safe.
