Why is there a grey triangle with an exclamation point in it on my sent message?

Its not on (all) of my texts.I'm guessing it has something to do with sending the text from my android to an iPhone? But when I look at the message details, they've always been delivered? I saw an older thread on this and wanted to know if there was any kind of updated answer? Thanks!

Usually that would indicate unable to deliver text. Perhaps iMessage issues or similar... If you tap on the triangle, it should tell you this and give you the option to resend....

I am also experiencing the same problem and when I click on the grey exclamation point it does not give me any option whatsoever? Can you help me with this problem?

The only friend of mine that this shows up on is a guy with a wife who watches his communication
So I’m thinking it’s an alert maybe to her.
I have iPhone he doesn’t.

Have you tried another message app like Google message , see same issue?
