how to stop wifi from automatically turning itself on overnight or sometimes even during the day?

I hav e an LG phone just purchased and the only so.ution LG offerex is to do a hard reset or phone repair which seems to be overkill.

So far i went to Advanced wifi under Settings and selected NOT to keep wifi on wbile screen is off and NO automatic Passpoint or Available wifi connections.

I dont see an option listed for under Settings-Networks-More "Connections Optimizer"

Can you kindly assist ?

You may have an app with permission to turn WiFi on and off. Poke around in app settings..
Also have a peek in developers options for aggressive WiFi settings....
