after android update today call ended message after dialing not receive: S8 phone

The automated android system updated this morning. Now when I dial I get a message of call ended immediately. I could not connect to an incoming call either. My phone is a new Samsung S8. How do I get my calling back? I even looked at the phone app settings and turned off video calling but that did not help.

Try resetting the phone and see if that fixes it. Can you keep me up-to-date I'm due to install that update in 2 hours

I had my brother check since he updated this morning on Verizon for the S8 and he says it works fine. Which carrier do you have?
