Have a message saying internal storage is low, 490mb is free and of the 11.8gb used it says 8.35gb is Apps and Games, yet when go into games and apps I can only see 200mb used, all apps are installed on the SD card, anyone any ideas how I can find this 8gb and clean it up?

Open settings, choose Storage. You should be able to see everything from here.

"Moving" an app (a game is an app) to the SD card usually doesn't save any storage any longer. The apps are moved in pieces, and a link to each piece is kept in internal storage. The problem is that these days, each piece is about the size of a link, so all you're doing is substituting a link for some code, but the internal storage being used is about the same. The space taken by those links isn't shown anywhere. (And the data saved by each app is also shown as storage used by the app - look in Settings/General/Applications, at each app, and you'll see cache and data - add those to the sizes of the apps.)

And remember, depending on the version of Android you're running, anything between 4GB to almost 8GB can be used by the system, and not show anywhere.

A 16GB device is considered very small these days, which is why devices with 128GB of internal storage are being sold. (The Fire 8 2017 is considered a budget tablet.)
