How can I get rid of ads o homescreen

I keep getting ads on my home screen I think it's a virus any ideas what to do?

Ads on the homescreen is typically due to adware that is associated with some app you installed. It can be difficult to tell which one is responsible, so you may just have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away -- start with your most recently installed apps.
