I have a 1 year old Moto Z Force running 7.1.1. Until recently the battery life seemed fine. Now I can't even get a day's use out of it, but I can't figure out why.

It's been 9 hours since a full charge, and I'm down to 19%. Android OS and System both using about 10% each, screen next at 8%. That doesn't seem like enough to cause such a battery drain. Any ideas what's causing the problem or how to figure out what is? Many thanks!

"I'm down to 19%". That's why. Lithium batteries are not deep-discharge batteries. Neverallow the battery to fall below 40% charge (recharging at 50% will give you even longer life). Now you need a new battery. The problem is that the internal resistance of the battery went up, so you can't draw as much power from the battery as you could when it was new. (I just recently had to replace my 4 year old battery after allowing it to get too hot when I charged it for 4 years. If I had kept it cool, I'd probably have gotten another 4 or 5 years out of it.)
