I cannot use my phone

[Android Central Question]

I got my new phone recently. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3. I got it from a pawn shop.
When I started to use it I realized: I can't login to my google account because the phone was wiped through the boot menu. It says to use the previous owner's account to login. The phone doesn't allow me to skip the google sign in either, now I am stuck on the Google login screen.
If there is anything I can do, other than trying to contact the previous owner, please let me know.

Sorry, there's nothing you can do except to try to engage the prior owner to properly reset the device.
