How do I fix and uninstall this smart lock app?

I recently got a pop up on my phone stating that I needed this smart lock app. At the time I thought it was a message directly from the phone itself meaning that I needed this app because it was an update. I downloaded the app and now I cannot use my screen. The three navigational buttons on the bottom work but anything on the screen that isn't those three buttons won't work, meaning that I can't shut down my phone. I can't do anything on the screen. I don't want to have to factory reset and I don't think I have the ability to at the moment.
