I factory reset my Samsung on 5 because i didn't have any more storage, and after i did that and have no pics no music no apps no nothing except what is already on the phone. My 8GB phone is getting 77% of its storage taken up by system/user data. 6.2 GB of it. I dont know what that is and why its taken up so much of my memory.please if anybody has a solution that would be great! thanks!

The factory reset removed everything and put the phone back to the state it was when you first got it out of the box. All your data and photos and music and apps are gone.

The apps can be installed again.
The data and photos need to be restored from a backup you previously created.

I would have thought that the OS would take closer to 4 GB. Regardless, 8 GB is a tiny amount of storage space, which leaves very little room for your use.
