This generally isn't recommended because it can slow down performance (sd cards are slower than the internal storage), and the SD card is more prone to corruption. So I personally wouldn't recommend it if at all possible. Use the SD card for independent files like photos, videos, documents, etc.

If you do still want to try moving apps over, go into the app manager in your settings menu. Then go into each app you want to try moving and see if the option is there. It is up to the developers to decide if they want to program their apps to allow being moved. Many do not give you that option. Even the ones that do will not move everything over, and the amount moved will vary between apps.
