How to adjust my talk to text on my Samsung S8 at&t phone

When I seem to talk to text or try to talk to text it doesn't understand me that will have to holler into it had to put it being near my Mouth to get it to understand me better

Most STT apps in phones don't work very well (certainly not anywhere near as well as Dragon Naturally Speaking). There are a few STT apps - how well which one works depends on your voice, your speech patterns and your phone's mic. Try a few different ones and use the one that works best.
