I have had the Android OS on this unit reset the settings of the unit so that the Picture and Sounds are shut off. It has happened 2 times, and cost me $150 GEEK squad the first time.. I would like to disable the function in the software that does this. I use the TV as a TV ONLY and use none of the 'Smart Device' aps at all.. The unit has access to my PRIVATE wireless router, but says not connected. I am `100% on HDMI with DTV sub..
I have no smart devices of my own, no cell phone, only internet land phone.
This has become an irritation, as it happened while watching TV on 1/6/18 and took 2 hours to get the screen back on, and 4 hours more to get the sound to function. HELP
