can i remove google and its annoying adds completley from my htc phone

have folowered all instructions on how to stop ads. but still get them . i even get call duration page with ads .am ready to throw phone out and use an old one that i never had problems with

The ads are usually coming from the "free" apps you are installing.
Which apps are showing these ads?
