how to fix this music issue?

[Android Central Question]

I've been trying to play and download music using apps from the play store and converting then pasting songs into the music folder on my SD card but my android BLU device keeps saying the player can't play the song, the phone version is 6.0. Music I download from other apps onto the phone don't even finish downloading. Any advice on this issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Where are you downloading the music from, and what file format are they in? Can your music player app see the files in the SD card in the first place?
