Android Central Question

I like the Google play feature that adds the new app to my home screen, but recently it has been adding a whole new page and putting new apps on the empty page.
My other home screen pages aren't full... So there should be space for the apps to sit but no matter what I do they just go to the new page?

You actually have 2 choices, but only 2. Either you can use the "feature" and manually move icons and delete empty pages, or you can disable the feature. There's no "fill existing pages first before creating new ones" choice.

Damn... Thanks anyway guys. It used to fill existing pages first but suddenly it stopped :/

Welcome to Android Central! It often depends on if you already have something occupying the space at the lower right of the rightmost homescreen. If you keep that space open, then a new homescreen shouldn't be created.
