[Android Central Question]

so my phone is damaged, only a very small part of the middle of the screen works for input. I have a replacement on the way, but I'd like to open my phone in the mean time to do things like place calls and send messages, etc. This was working fine at first because bixby worked and I do these simple tasks using that, I can see the screen just fine and my fingerprint reader was how I unlocked the phone.

Then I messed up and let the battery drain and the phone turn off. Now the only way to unlock the phone is to input my password, the fingerprint reader is not an option on the first unlock after the phone turns back on. But the bottom half of my screen doesn't work, so I can't type anything.

Is there anyway to type the password by voice command or otherwise unlock the phone?

I'll give that a shot, since I can see the screen still maybe it will work.

Since you can still see the screen, then a USB mouse connected via OTG adapter should let you move a cursor around.
