Audio and Video slowly lose sync

I have been struggling with a problem for a few days and I'm out of ideas on how to fix this problem.

When I watch a video the sound and the video slowly go out of sync. The sound plays before the video. The longer the video plays the gap between the sound and video grows. If I stop the video and restart it where I left off they are in perfect sync. Then slowly as the video plays they will drift out of sync.
P.S: I'm only experiencing this issue with 1080p videos that downloaded, couldn't test it online since my whole family is connected to the same wifi network and 720p videos can easily be watched online with no issues faced. I downloaded videos in different qualities i.e 360p and 480p and they played just fine. With 1080p videos, I've tried various players but the problem persists with each.

I did as you've asked me to, but it didn't help my problem. I wouldn't mind factory resetting my phone, shall I go for that?
