Stopping Request to Configure USB stick

I have an Android TV box and I have a USB stick which I use as removable storage. Every time the box boots it asks if I wish to configure this device as internal storage. I don't; how do I stop the pop-up appearing?

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the box and asking them? (The box should make that option available if you want to find it, but should somehow mark the stick as "he already said no to this stick, so don't ask any more".)

Unless there's a little check box to tick that says "don't ask for this storage device any more", and you failed to notice it?
