Bypass security code

A very good friend of mine recently passed away & his phone is locked is there anyway of getting the photos off? His wife has no idea of passwords or any security details

Welcome to Android Central! In general, there are no good ways to bypass security features -- otherwise, they'd be terrible security features. Is this your phone? Did you just plain forget your Secure Folder password? Assuming this is a Samsung phone, I've never been able to find a way to reset or retrieve a Secure Folder/Privacy Mode password -- you just have to do a factory reset to reset the password, which of course means you've lost the data in that folder.
