    Hey guys, I live in Bolivia and I recently bought a Galaxy S8 and I just noticed that it doesnt have the "Galaxy S8" branding on the back and neither does it have the CE markings... Why??? The phone works normally and everything seems to be alright, it even has a valid IMEI but I really dont know why it doesnt have the branding and markings. Please help!

    What does it have? In my country we usually get the branding replaced with a Duos branding because we get dual sim versions.

    It literally doesnt have anything. Just the Samsung brand. The rest of the back is clean... I dont know if its because of my country or whatever but it worries me!

    Take a picture. Then maybe run Antutu Officer. Or see if you can login to the Samsung App Store, or if it will work with Sidesync and Smart Switch.

    Okay I ran antutu officer and the results were a big Unknown followed by "samsung" and a build number "SM-G950F". I opened up Galaxy Apps too and it worked just fine. The other 2 apps arent available for me cause i dont have another Samsung device that would work with them lol. Everything seems fine software wise. It runs like a normal Galaxy S8 should but it surprised me to have a clean back. Do you think its because of my country? As you said in your country they label it a Duos because of the dual sim. Mine's a dual sim too but it doesnt say anything more than Samsung.

    Oooh BTW it oes have the IMEI and made in vietnam marking lol my bad. But it doesnt have the Galaxy S8 thingy or the CE markings... Just throwing it out there.

    The CE mark only has meaning within the EU, so it's not surprising that a phone intended for use in South America wouldn't have it. (Phones in the US sometimes don't have it either.)
