I have a Moto Z2 Play, actually a warranty replacement I received Monday, and I cannot figure out how to get it to not reduce the Media volume when connecting via BlueTooth to my car's aftermarket radio. I eventually got it working right on the original device, but I don't recall how. This does not happen when I connect it to my BT headset.
The car radio is a JVC unit. I've checked all of the available BT settings, and nothing there is relevant. Volume control on the JVC is controlled independently from the BT source. But if the source volume is too low, then the JVC doesn't have anything to control.
My main audio source on the phone is Media Monkey, I also use Podcast Addict.
