Can't receive forwarded calls

I have a call forwarding feature on my office phone but when I forward to my s8+ i can't pick up the call.

That sounds like a problem with the office phone system, the office carrier or the cellphone carrier. I'd start with the office carrier and ask if they're doing anything that might be causing it. (And ask them which callerID they're sending - your office or your caller.)
