How can I set my Huawei P9 Lite so that it ONLY unlocks with fingerprint or PIN?

I have both fingerprint unlock and backup PIN set up but the phone can still be unlocked by tapping the power button and swiping the screen. I have no parental controls set up on my phone and a very inquisitive 6-year old who I would not want to access the completely unrestricted web browsing, YouTube etc. How do I keep him out?

Set the screen to lock when the screen is turned off by pressing the power button - no delay. You can still set a long delay for locking when the screen just times out.

Yes but I've tried it with smart lock on and off, makes no difference
