Android Central Question

Prefix: I am not very tech and struggling.

So I have a Samsung A3 that has a calendar app on it which I have started using and like. I also have an iPad and laptop (not Mac) which I want to be able to use calendars with. Basically I want one calendar visible on all 3 devices. I thought that the calendar on Samsung would be syncing with calendar apps that come on iPad and pc as they are all linked to the same gmail account.

Welcome to Android Central! The calendar app can show calendars from various different accounts -- your Google account, your Samsung account, and the local Phone account. The Samsung account calendar will only sync/backup to your Samsung account, which won't show up on your iPad and laptop, and the Phone account calendar doesn't sync anywhere -- it just stays on the phone, so it's not a good place to enter important information.

The best thing to do is to enter events into a calendar associated with your Google account. These events will sync automatically with your Google Calendar in the cloud, and can be seen easily by going to calendar.google.com on your computer browser, or by adding the calendar to your Apple Calendar app: https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/99358?co=GENIE.Platform=Desktop&hl=en. Or you could also install the Google Calendar app on your iPad: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-calendar/id909319292?mt=8&at=10l3Vy
