I have 3 pages on my homescreen with plenty of space for new app shortcuts but when I download any new apps or add a webpage to the homescreen they automatically make a new page and place them there. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Welcome to Android Central! For Samsung's UI (and possibly others), it looks for an empty space at the bottom right of the rightmost homescreen. If there is no space, it'll create a new homescreen -- even if there are plenty of empty spots higher up on the screen.
